AtlantaPFS is looking for volunteer Game Masters to run tables as well as volunteers to oversee the Headquarters desk at local conventions throughout the year. Whether you’re in the Metro Atlanta area or plan to be during one of the events, we could use your help. As a volunteer organization, everything we do hinges on having volunteers available. If you’re interested in volunteering, whether for a convention/event or for local game day GM duty, please submit the Volunteer Form.
For 2024, we anticipate organizing games and participating in the following conventions (this list is subject to change):
Dice & Diversions (NEW CONVENTION for 2024 – January 12-15; Hilton Atlanta Northeast)
Wreckcon (March 2; Georgia Tech)
Marietta the Gathering (March 2; Marietta Square)
Nerdi Gras (March 15-17; NEW VENUE for 2024 – The Sonesta at Gwinnett Place)
MomoCon (May 24-27; Georgia World Congress Center)
Southern-Fried Gaming Expo (July 19-21; Marriott Renaissance Waverly/Cobb Galleria and Conference Center)
DragonCon (August 29-September 2; AmericasMart 3)
Multiverse (October 18-20; NEW VENUE for 2024 – Hilton Peachtree City Atlanta Hotel & Conference Center)
Each convention block is scheduled in 4-5 hour increments, so volunteering for a block will mean a commitment of that amount of time.
Convention volunteers are expected to arrive a minimum of 15 minutes prior to their scheduled shifts.
Convention volunteers may also qualify for free admission to the convention for a specified number of hours of volunteer time (which varies by convention).
