This week brings welcome news from the Appalachian Region as Chattanooga officially gains new leadership, plus important updates about Paizo’s new store launch. We’ve got great games scheduled, and we’re continuing to build momentum toward our final event of the year at Anime Weekend Atlanta in December.

📢 Current Announcements & Updates
🆕 New Paizo Store Launching This Week!
Important Information for All Players: Paizo is launching an all-new store experience this week! Here’s what you need to know:
The Timeline:
- Monday, November 3rd at 12:00 PM Pacific: Paizo.com goes dark for 2-3 days
- During Downtime: You won’t be able to access Paizo Connect, organized play reporting, forums, downloads, order history, or any Paizo services
- When the Store Returns: Your old password won’t work – use “Forgot your password” to create a new one
What’s Moving to the New Store:
- ✅ Your subscriptions
- ✅ My Downloads
- ✅ Paizo Connect console (organized play reporting)
- ✅ Gift certificates and store credit
- ❌ Wishlists, sidecarts, and pending orders (you’ll create new ones)
After the New Store Launches:
- Verify your payment methods and addresses are correct
- Check your Library to ensure all downloads are present
- Review your Paizo Plus rewards tier
- Report any issues in the Website Feedback forum

This is it—our final event of the year! Join us at Anime Weekend Atlanta for an amazing opportunity to introduce organized play to the anime gaming community. Whether you’re a veteran player or brand new to Pathfinder and Starfinder, this is the perfect event to close out 2025.

💬 Discord Server Upgrade – Role Selection Available!
Our Discord server infrastructure upgrades are complete! The new role-based system is live and ready to provide you with a more personalized, organized experience.
What You Need to Do:
- Visit #role-selection in our Discord server
- Choose your roles from each category:
- Gaming Role (Player, GM, Venue, Vendor, and/or Convention/Event Staff)
- Region (where you game – you can select multiple)
- Format (Brick & Mortar, VTT, and/or Play-by-Post)
- Systems (Pathfinder and/or Starfinder)
- Enjoy your customized experience!
Important Timeline:
- Now through January 15: Education and setup period – select your roles at your convenience
- January 16: Role selection becomes required
- January 19: Full enforcement begins – members without selected roles will only see #role-selection and #help
Don’t worry! You can change your roles anytime. Questions? Visit our #help channel or reach out to any VO or Admin on the server.

About the Appalachian Region
As Regional Venture-Coordinator, I oversee organized play across the Appalachian Region, which encompasses six states: Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia. This region is home to numerous lodges and gaming communities working together to provide amazing Pathfinder and Starfinder experiences.
🎊 Chattanooga Gains New Leadership!
We’re excited to announce that Antoine M has been officially appointed as Venture-Lieutenant of Chattanooga, Tennessee! Following last week’s announcement about reopening the Chattanooga lodge, Antoine’s appointment marks the next step in bringing organized play back to this community. Games are scheduled at Epikos: Comics, Cards, & Games, and you can sign up on their Warhorn page. Welcome to the leadership team, Antoine! 🎉

📅 Schedule Changes: Our schedules are subject to change due to GM/Player availability as well as competing events at venues. The best way to keep abreast of these changes is to follow our schedule on our Warhorn event page or our Event Calendar. We attempt to schedule 2 weeks or greater in advance of the game date and to cancel 48 hours or greater in advance when we know of an issue.

Antoine M’s official appointment as Venture-Lieutenant of Chattanooga marks another milestone in our regional expansion, and the new Regional Lodge Directory should help connect players across our six-state region. Whether you’re traveling for work or just curious about gaming communities beyond your home lodge, you now have a roadmap to find games throughout the Appalachian Region.
The new Paizo Store launch this week will bring some temporary disruption, but it’s all in service of a better experience for everyone. Remember that organized play reporting will be unavailable during the 2-3 day transition, so plan accordingly if you have games to report.
