AtlantaPFS Weekly Update

๐ŸŽฒ New Venue & Convention Season Ahead! ๐ŸŒŸ

Greetings, Pathfinders and Starfinders! We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends. As we return to the gaming table, December kicks off with exciting newsโ€”we’re launching games at Level-Up Games Johns Creek this Thursday, expanding our reach in the northern Atlanta metro area. This marks another milestone in bringing organized play to more communities throughout our region.

And the excitement doesn’t stop there! Anime Weekend Atlanta is just two and a half weeks away (December 18-21), where we’ll be running on-demand Pathfinder and Starfinder games throughout the weekend. Whether you’re a regular at our tables or discovering organized play for the first time at AWA, we’ve got adventures waiting for you. Read on for all the details!

๐Ÿ“ข Current Announcements & Updates

๐ŸŽ‰ Welcome Level-Up Games Johns Creek!

This Thursday, December 4 marks our first game day at Level-Up Games Johns Creek! We’re excited to bring Pathfinder Society to this fantastic venue in the Johns Creek area.

First Game: PFS2 Intro: Year of Boundless Wonder
When: Thursday, December 4, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Where: Level-Up Games, Johns Creek

This introductory scenario is perfect for new players and veterans alike. Come help us christen this new venue and show Level-Up Games the strength of our organized play community! If you’re in the Johns Creek, Duluth, or surrounding areas, this is your chance to play closer to home.

๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ Appalachian Region Hub & Calendar

Don’t forget to check out the Appalachian Region Hub for organized play resources across our six-state region! The site features a regional and national calendar showing game days throughout Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia, plus regional conventions.

Traveling for work or visiting family? Use the calendar to find games wherever you are in the Appalachian Region. The calendar continues to be updated with national and international events as well.

๐Ÿ“… Wednesday Game Scheduling Update

Our Wednesday games at Manuel’s Tavern are experiencing some coordination delays in getting posted to our regular 2-week advance schedule. Games will still be happening, but may appear on Warhorn on shorter notice. Please check back regularly for Wednesday updates as we work to improve our posting consistency.

๐Ÿ† Hall of Heroes

Visit our Hall of Heroes page to celebrate the achievements, contributions, and memorable moments of our lodge members. This page honors those who have made lasting impacts on our community, including those we’ve lost. Check it out from the member area menu!

๐Ÿ†• New to Pathfinder or Starfinder Society?

Welcome to organized play! Whether you’re brand new to tabletop RPGs or a veteran player exploring Pathfinder or Starfinder Society for the first time, we’re here to help you get started.

๐Ÿค— Safe, Welcoming Tables for All

Everyone is welcome at our tables. Pathfinder and Starfinder Society organized play is committed to providing a safe, fun, and inclusive gaming environment for all participants worldwide. Whether you’re a veteran player, a first-time gamer, young or old, regardless of background, identity, or experience levelโ€”there’s a seat at our table for you.

All Pathfinder and Starfinder Society games operate under the Paizo Organized Play Code of Conduct and Community Standards. We expect all participantsโ€”players and GMs alikeโ€”to treat each other with respect and work together to create positive, memorable gaming experiences.

We do not tolerate: harassment, discrimination, intimidation, unwelcome contact, or behavior that makes anyone feel excluded or threatened. Inappropriate conduct includes, but is not limited to, harassment or discrimination based on age, disability, ethnicity, gender or gender expression/identity, race, religion, sexuality, or any other reason.

If you experience or witness problematic behavior: Please bring it to the attention of the GM, Event Organizer, or any Venture-Officer. You can also contact your local lodge leadership, the Regional Venture-Coordinator, or report directly to Paizo at organizedplay@paizo.com. Your concerns will be taken seriously and addressed promptly.

Our commitment: These standards apply at every organized play table worldwide. We strive to resolve issues at the table level when appropriate, but we will not hesitate to remove anyone whose behavior violates our community standards. Gaming should be fun and welcoming for everyoneโ€”that’s the foundation of organized play.

Getting Started Resources:

Don’t have a character yet? No problem! You can use an iconic pregenerated character to try out the game before committing to building your own. Our GMs will have pregens available at the table. If you’d prefer to create your own character, our GMs and volunteers are happy to helpโ€”just arrive a little early and let us know you’re new.

๐Ÿ“… Schedule Changes: Our schedules are subject to change due to GM/Player availability as well as competing events at venues. The best way to keep abreast of these changes is to follow our schedule on our Warhorn event page or our Event Calendar. We attempt to schedule 2 weeks or greater in advance of the game date and to cancel 48 hours or greater in advance when we know of an issue.

This week marks an exciting expansion for AtlantaPFS as we welcome Level-Up Games Johns Creek to our roster of venues! Opening a new location takes dedication from our GMs and support from our players, so if you’re in the Johns Creek areaโ€”or willing to make the tripโ€”please come out Thursday evening and help us show this venue what organized play is all about. First impressions matter, and a strong turnout sets the foundation for regular games at this location.

With Anime Weekend Atlanta just around the corner, convention season is heating up! Whether you’re planning to attend AWA, looking forward to Dice & Diversions in January, or just enjoying our regular weekly games, there’s plenty of organized play ahead. Our GMs continue to bring fantastic adventures to life across multiple venues and platforms, and your participation makes it all worthwhile.

Remember to check Warhorn regularly throughout the week for any additional games that might appear, and don’t hesitate to use our Adventure Request Form if there’s something specific you’d like to see on the schedule. Thank you for being part of this vibrant gaming community. Roll well, friends, and we’ll see you at the table! โš”๏ธ๐ŸŒŸ
