🍺⚔️ AtlantaPFS Weekly Update
October 4 – October 10, 2026
🎪 Oktoberfest Edition 🎪
Prost, Pathfinders and Starfinders! Willkommen to another week of organized play! While Oktoberfest celebrations fill the taverns of Munich, our own tables are filling with dice, character sheets, and adventure. This week sees LUGCon wrapping up, Nightmare Weekend Raleigh approaching, and three Atlanta tables running—including two virtual sessions on Fantasy Grounds Unity.
🎉 New Venture-Agent Announcement
Please join us in welcoming Christopher B as our newest Venture-Agent! Christopher is taking on scheduling duties at Titan Games & Comics in Smyrna, filling a critical gap in our officer coverage. Thank you, Christopher, for stepping up!
📢 The State of Organized Play
Paizo’s Organized Play Infinite Sanctioning & Announcements blog from September 21st continues to shape our community:
- Pathfinder Society is not ending. Monthly PFS2 scenario releases wrap up after #8-07: In the Halls of Dead Justice and #8-08: Treatise on the Study of Clockwork, both releasing October 7 (this Wednesday!).
- Going forward, regular PFS content will come from the new Paizo Printables adventure line, plus fan-created content sanctioned through Pathfinder Infinite.
- Starfinder Society is unaffected and continues its normal monthly scenario schedule.
We’ll keep passing along solid information as we get it. What we can tell you for certain: this community isn’t going anywhere.
Paizo’s pricing update took effect October 1st on a limited selection of books. Most of the catalog, including Adventure Paths, is unaffected.
🎨 LUGCon Wraps Up Tomorrow (October 4)
Gas South Convention Center, Duluth, GA. LUGCon’s final day is tomorrow. Thanks to Steve H for representing AtlantaPFS with a token presence this year. If you’re there, stop by and say hello!
🚨 We Still Need Officers
With Christopher B now covering Titan Games, we’re down to just two venues without dedicated officer support. Battle & Brew (Sandy Springs) and Level-Up Games Johns Creek still need Venture-Agents. If you’re willing to show up, keep a searchable public presence, and be a friendly face at your local table, we want to talk to you. Email joel@atlantapfs.org or fill out the Volunteer Form.
🎭 Rocky Horror Picture Show — Halloween Night
Saturday, October 31 — The Plaza Theatre, Ponce de Leon Avenue. Costumes and audience participation strongly encouraged — Rocky Horror veterans and Virgins alike are welcome. Get tickets at The Plaza Theatre. Questions? Reach out on the GeorgiaPFS Discord or email joel@atlantapfs.org.
🎃 Nightmare Weekend Raleigh — NEXT Weekend (October 10–11)
Paizo staff will be at Nightmare Weekend Raleigh (presented by GalaxyCon) showcasing 13 Omens and other upcoming releases. Get tickets at galaxycon.com.
🎲 Columbus Lodge Update
The Columbus lodge continues preparing to get games back on the calendar at Moxie Games — no session on the books this week, but we’ll flag it here the moment one lands.
🏆 Hall of Heroes
Visit our Hall of Heroes page to honor those we’ve lost from our gaming community.

📅 Weekly Game Schedule — October 4 – October 10, 2026
As always, this schedule is subject to change — your best resource is the Upcoming Games page on Warhorn. Want a specific adventure? Use our Adventure Request Form!
A brief apology: We’re not hitting our target of 2-week advance scheduling right now. The volunteer team is stretched thin, and we’re doing our best to keep games on the calendar. Thank you for your patience.
Keep an eye on Warhorn — games often get added with hours or days to spare as GMs confirm their availability.
