🌀⚔️ AtlantaPFS Weekly Update
October 11 – October 17, 2026
🌀 Hurricane Isaias Edition 🌀
Greetings, Pathfinders and Starfinders! First and most important: we hope everyone weathered Hurricane Isaias safely, with little to no damage to person or property. As the clouds clear and the power comes back on, the tables are ready for you. This week brings two tables at Battle & Brew on Sunday, a virtual Starfinder session on Fantasy Grounds Unity Monday night, and a double feature at Giga-Bites Cafe on Saturday, plus a new venue coordinator to welcome and Nightmare Weekend Raleigh wrapping up.
🎉 New Venture-Agent Announcement
Please join us in welcoming Christopher B as our newest Venture-Agent! Christopher is taking on scheduling duties at Titan Games & Comics in Smyrna, filling a critical gap in our officer coverage. Thank you, Christopher, for stepping up!
🎉 New Venue Coordinator at Battle & Brew
Please also welcome Alex H as venue coordinator for Battle & Brew in Sandy Springs! A dedicated member of our community has been scheduling games at Battle & Brew since we returned to the venue, and he’ll keep doing so just as he always has. He’s chosen not to take on a Venture-Officer role, so Alex, who already serves as one of our Venture-Lieutenants, is stepping in to provide official officer coverage for the venue. Nothing changes for players: same great games, now with an officer on point. Thank you to both of them!
📢 The State of Organized Play
Paizo’s Organized Play Infinite Sanctioning & Announcements blog from September 21st continues to shape our community:
- Pathfinder Society is not ending. Monthly PFS2 scenario releases wrapped up with #8-07: In the Halls of Dead Justice and #8-08: Treatise on the Study of Clockwork, both released October 7.
- Going forward, regular PFS content will come from the new Paizo Printables adventure line, plus fan-created content sanctioned through Pathfinder Infinite.
- Starfinder Society is unaffected and continues its normal monthly scenario schedule.
We’ll keep passing along solid information as we get it. What we can tell you for certain: this community isn’t going anywhere.
Paizo’s pricing update took effect October 1st on a limited selection of books. Most of the catalog, including Adventure Paths, is unaffected.
🎨 Thank You, LUGCon!
Gas South Convention Center, Duluth, GA. LUGCon wrapped up on October 4. Thank you to Steve H for representing AtlantaPFS this year, and to everyone who came out to join us!
🚨 We Still Need Officers
With Christopher B now covering Titan Games and Alex H now covering Battle & Brew, we’re down to just one venue without dedicated officer support: Level-Up Games Johns Creek. If you’re willing to show up, keep a searchable public presence, and be a friendly face at your local table, we want to talk to you. Email joel@atlantapfs.org or fill out the Volunteer Form.
🎭 Rocky Horror Picture Show — Halloween Night
Saturday, October 31 — The Plaza Theatre, Ponce de Leon Avenue. Costumes and audience participation strongly encouraged — Rocky Horror veterans and Virgins alike are welcome. Get tickets at The Plaza Theatre. Questions? Reach out on the GeorgiaPFS Discord or email joel@atlantapfs.org.
🎃 Nightmare Weekend Raleigh — Happening Now (October 10–11)
Nightmare Weekend Raleigh (presented by GalaxyCon) is underway now and runs through Sunday, October 11. Paizo staff are on hand showcasing 13 Omens and other upcoming releases. If you’re in the area, there’s still time to go! Tickets at galaxycon.com.
🎲 Columbus Lodge Update
The Columbus lodge continues preparing to get games back on the calendar at Moxie Games — no session on the books this week, but we’ll flag it here the moment one lands.
🏆 Hall of Heroes
Visit our Hall of Heroes page to honor those we’ve lost from our gaming community.

📅 Weekly Game Schedule — October 11 – October 17, 2026
As always, this schedule is subject to change — your best resource is the Upcoming Games page on Warhorn. Want a specific adventure? Use our Adventure Request Form!
A brief apology: We’re not hitting our target of 2-week advance scheduling right now. The volunteer team is stretched thin, and we’re doing our best to keep games on the calendar. Thank you for your patience.
Keep an eye on Warhorn — games often get added with hours or days to spare as GMs confirm their availability.
