Pathfinders and Starfinders,
I'm going to be direct with you: We are in crisis.
Despite a solid core of volunteers already committed, we are facing the potential cancellation of 60% of our scheduled games at DragonCon 2026 unless we fill critical slots immediately. The schedule is due in two weeks, and right now we don't have the bodies to run what we've promised.
This isn't about burnout prevention anymore. This is about saving the event.
What I need from you TODAY:
If you've ever considered volunteering, commit now. Not tomorrow. Not "maybe." Now. Even one slot helps. If you're sitting on the sidelines thinking "someone else will do it" — you're the someone. Check the planning schedule, pick your slot(s), and lock them in.
- Without you, games will be cancelled
- Players counting on these games will be disappointed
- The community we've built will shrink
- Ignore the 6-slot cap for now — if you can do more, email me directly (joel@atlantapfs.org) and we'll make it work. If you can only do one, take one. Just take something.
- Be decisive — check boxes only if you're certain, but check something
- Spread the word — forward this to anyone who might help
New floor layout: [include map] — note the blue-circled tables are relocated to the other side of the Freight Lobby near bathrooms.
Eventeny note: Only needed if you're working 5+ slots for a free badge. If "Campaign RPGs" isn't listed, select "Other" and specify AtlantaPFS/DragonCon.
I cannot save 60% of this schedule alone. I need you. Not eventually. Today.
Reply to this email or write joel@atlantapfs.org with questions. But please — commit first, questions after.
We built this community together. Don't let it collapse now.
