AtlantaPFS November Newsletter
As we head toward the end of the year, we’d like to thank each of you for making our events successful and our community vibrant. This year has been packed with incredible events that brought us together for tabletop adventures, laughs, and memorable moments. We kicked off with Dice & Diversions and our AtlantaPFS Holiday Party in January, then joined WreckCon, Marietta the Gathering, and NerdiGras in March. We leveled up again at MomoCon in May, the Southern-Fried Gaming Expo in July, DragonCon in August-September, and recently celebrated more games at Multiverse and ShaoCon in October.
As we wrap up 2024, we’re especially excited to participate in Toys of Boundless Wonder, which will run from November 29 through December 15. This special event supports the Toys for Tots drive, and venues participating in the drive are eligible to host the PFS2 Interactive Special 6-00: Salt of the Ocean—a unique and thrilling experience you won’t want to miss!
Looking ahead, we’re thrilled to bring back these events in 2025, with NerdiGras and Southern-Fried Gaming Expo changing weekends. We’ll update our event calendar soon so you can start planning!
As we plan for next year’s conventions and acquisition events, we’ll be looking for volunteers to help us make these events a success. If you’re interested, please sign up on the Volunteer page of our website to be contacted when opportunities arise. The volunteer form also includes an option to sign up as a Game Day GM if you’re interested in running games. We’re always excited to welcome new GMs and are here to support you in making game sessions successful!
The Starfinder 2nd Edition playtest is currently underway, with feedback being accepted through the end of December. This is a chance to help shape the next edition of the game—get involved and make your voice heard at starfinderplaytest.com. Starfinder 2nd Edition will officially launch at Gen Con in August 2025, and we aim to premiere it locally at DragonCon or potentially even earlier through special Slot 0 sessions for volunteers.

We Value Your Feedback!
This message comes from Alex at Paizo, the Organized Play Coordinator and head of the Organized Play program. It was shared on the Venture-Officer Discord and requested to be made public.
Paizo Organized Play is seeking feedback on our programs as we look to Starfinder Second Edition and beyond. Whether you’ve been playing Organized Play for years, have just joined the Society, or haven’t yet played a game with us, we’re looking for your thoughts on our programs.
The survey below should only take a few minutes to complete, and the data will be invaluable to the future of our programs. We are explicitly looking for feedback from both OP participants and non-participants, so please encourage your communities to complete it!
Thank you for being part of our community. Let’s finish 2024 strong and look forward to another adventure-filled year in 2025!
See you at the tables, The AtlantaPFS Team
